Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist who currently competes with the UFC flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko, who is a former UFC Flyweight titleholder and UFC fellow fighter is her younger sister. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career started out as an Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko took home another medal in 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008, a gold medal in 2011 and then was named as the IFMA Amateur World Muay Thai Champion in the year 2016. Antonia's professional career began in 2003. In 2012, she took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship In 2016, she won she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016 the WMC World Championships. Antonina's final fight took place at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The fight was won by unanimity. Antonina Shychenko's pro MMA debut was in 2002 at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She took the title with a TKO in the second round, and went on to win her 2 subsequent fights in the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. This gave her an MMA record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a short absence from MMA and concentrated on her boxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 when she fought Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa in a unanimously-decided match after which she beat Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left the club and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko knocked out Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina made use of superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the clinch. Antonina is currently being knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
