Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley has been a popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the most wealthy and most successful. Shottas was a classic movie in which he appeared alongside another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album like Father Like Son. This was followed by several singles like Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap suited (remix), and Sensimelia. They all have contributed to the growing reputation of Ky-Mani as a rising reggae artist. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees to record Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song has been a big hit since 1997. Marley is the very first performer to appear at Midem in Miami the world's largest showcase of musical talent. Marley performed at the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcasted to 36 other countries. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bidding war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Records.
